It's May and Mermay so I'm continuing featuring mermaids from various companies this month. Today's card features this adorable digital stamp I colored up last year called The Guppies: Betta from Sweet November Stamps. I challenged myself to use colors I don't normally use and I even added a pattern to her tail. My niece's birthday is coming up so I made this one a birthday card.

The large orange/white flower is the R43 half white half orange Peony.....I LOVE these two tone flowers! Next, I added S3-4 Black Cherry Blossoms, followed by S10m White and Peach Small Flowers. I colored the Tiny Soft Pink Edge leaves black so they would coordinate. The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom Make A Splash Gnomie Stamps.

Jaded Blossom May 2024 Release: SNEAK PEEK DAY 3

Happy Wednesday Friends! Today, we are on Day 3 of Sneak Peeks for the Jaded Blossom May 2024 Release. You can grab the "Gotta Have It Now Package" for a discounted amount. If you wait until the release goes live, the bundle price will go up.

This new release is mermazing! Today's sneak peek features the Embellishment Cluster Die that can be used in so many different ways. You can glue the various shapes directly to your card or you can make your own shaker bits.....which is what I did! I knew when I saw the Mermaid Silhouette Stencil (FREEBIE offer) that I wanted to make a shaker Snow Globe.

I had some glitter and holographic paper in my stash so I used them to create the shaker pieces. I cut double of the shapes, and glued the paper back to back so if any pieces flip over you don't see the white back. 

I used various Distress Oxide Inks to color the background and circle frame. The sentiment is from the new Make A Splash Gnomie Stamp Set.

This new release is mermazing! Today's sneak peek features a beautiful Fancy Shell Die, Mermaid To Be Friends Stamps + Outline Dies, and the Seaweed Stencil. I found these awesome Mermaid Jewels Shell Gummies, and used the XL Topper Die for my project.

The background was created using Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide Ink with the Seaweed Stencil over blue paper. I used sand digital paper for the sea bottom. The shell die pieces were inked using Distress Inks: Antique Linen, Spun Sugar, and Pumice Stone. 

Here is a closeup of the topper. I used copic makers to color the mermaid, except her tail. On the tail I used Distress Ink and then added gold scallops and white highlights.

This new release is mermazing! All of the gnome die add ons bring me back to my paper doll days when I was younger. I keep adding details and more details and next thing I know it's been hours and I haven't even eaten dinner, LOL! Today's sneak peek features Gnome Dies: Mermaid Add Ons, Make A Splash Gnomie Stamps + Outline Dies, and the Bubble Stencil. I decided to use Make Up Faces Stamps to create more girlie mermaids instead of gnome mermaids. Isn't the seahorse the cutest thing ever?!!

The background was created using Distress Oxide Inks: Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Blueprint Sketch, and Faded Jeans. I splattered water over the blue and then used Hero Arts Unicorn White Pigment Ink over the Bubble Stencil. The sand is printed digital paper. I used deckle edge scissors to cut it. The seahorse and small mermaid are raised on foam tape.

Jaded Blossom: HELLO MY FRIEND

Happy Friday everyone! I'm back today with my latest card featuring some wonderful products from Jaded Blossom. For the month of May, Jaded Blossom is spotlighting two stamp sets: Happy Hello and Happy Hello Add Ons 2. There is even a bundle deal to purchase the stamp sets with their coordinating outline dies for a bigger discount. I love these two sentiment sets because they are so versatile and perfect for so many different occasions!

I used both sentiment sets on this card. The "Hello" is from Hello Add Ons 2, and the "My Friend" is from Happy Hello. The gnome is from Buzzing with my Gnomies. I cut several of the Circle Internal Scallops Die and glued them together to raise the black circle frame. The cloud paper was cut out using the Stitched Circled Dies which fit behind the scallop frame perfectly. I wanted the gnome to look like he was popping out of the circle so I cut off his bottom half and raised the flower on foam tape so it pops out of the black circle.

The white panel was cut out using Rectangle Dies 2, and then framed by a black piece of cardstock cut to 4 x 5.25. The white card base is A2 size (4.25 x 5.5)

Today, I used the Happy Hello Stamp Set (part of the Monthly Spotlight) with Label Shape Dies 1 to create this quick birthday card. I added paper flowers from I Am Roses in two corners, and finished it off with pink Doodlebug Design Enamel Dots in the other two corners. 

 

I also created a CAS version of this card without the flowers.

I Am Roses + Conie Fong Bear with Heart

Happy Tuesday friends! I'm back today with my latest project for I Am Roses featuring this adorable Bear with Heart from Conie Fong. This image is featured on the Draw With Conie YouTube Channel, where Conie walks you step-by-step on how to draw this cutie for yourself! I love the versatility of this bear image because it can be used for so many different occasions. Since Mother's Day is right around the corner, I colored up the heart in pink and handwrote Happy Mother's Day.

I used some soft vintage paper in my stash, and of course added I Am Roses flowers on two of the corners. The large flowers are the R43 Peony, followed by white cherry blossoms, S10m small pink flowers, and small green leaves.

Jaded Blossom: MOO-Chas GRASS-ias!

Happy Friday everyone! I'm back today with my latest project for Jaded Blossom. I bought these individually wrapped Cocoa Creamy Fudge nuggets with a cow on the wrapping and knew I just had to color up the adorable cow that's part of the Cow Patties Stamp Set. Isn't she adorable?! 

I used the XL Topper Die with the 5x5 inch Clear Bags to create this candy holder. I added some vintage papers, and inked the edges with brown chalk just to make the edges a little more distressed (that's a tip for you if you don't have Distress Ink...just used chalk!). I stamped the cow on tan cardstock and colored in parts with Copic markers. The sentiment is from the Cow Patties Stamp Set. To add more dimension, I raised the cow on foam tape.

Today's paper doll inspired set called MISS ANYA STYLE features a stunning Anya with long, gorgeous hair, and comes with various outfit changes! It's so much fun to give all of these dresses unique designs. I decided to cut the dresses from patterned paper. 

I used pattern paper to create the room scene. To give the card some dimension, I raised Miss Anya and the two front dresses on foam tape.

Today, I'm featuring the cutest dog and cat on a wilderness vacation in a set called ADVENTURE PALS. This set even comes with a camper van along with several more accessory stamps. I used my markers, the tree stamp, and the stars to create the forest scene.

I heat embossed the sentiment using white embossing powder. To create some dimension, I raised all the images on foam tape.

The Greeting Farm April 2024 Stamp Feature Day 1: MERMAID ANYA 2

Happy Tuesday friends! We are on Day 1 of Stamp Features for the April 2024 New Release at The Greeting Farm. This month, TGF introduced 3 new stamp sets which are all available now for purchase. Today's set is called MERMAID ANYA 2, and features a gorgeous Anya with her fish and sea horse friends. It comes with 3 sentiments, along with several accessory stamps to create the most mermazing under water scene! All of the images are stamped on Xpress It Blending Card and colored with Copic Markers. I fussy cut the images and then used B14 Copic Marker to color in the outside/inside edges so it looks like a seamless scene.

The background ocean was created with Distress Oxide Ink. I cut a separate strip for the ocean floor, stamped the rocks along the top edge, fussy cut around the rocks, and then used deckle edge scissors to create the top edge. The sea floor and mermaid are raised on foam tape.

Summer is right around the corner and I've got travel/beach fever! I saw this adorable image from Conie Fong called Summer Flamingo and just had to color her up. She's enjoying the warm weather on the beach! I love her summer hat and floatie!
